In the area
At the heart of the Redon area, you will find plenty of ideas for walks, horseriding, bicycling, canoeing and driving tours. We are within one hour of the southern Brittany coast or the forest of Brocéliande.
Walks.
The towpath beside the Vilaine passes at the bottom of our garden. It is accessible by everyone for a walk of just a few minutes or of several hours towards Redon, Guipry, the surprising Corbinières site, the marshes…
To discover the local history of the village of Brain you can take a walk along the signposted pathway, which takes you in the tracks on St Melaine and throughout the village.
From the house you can also take the rambling paths and the GR39 which take you between small hills and the river towards the village of La Chapelle de Brain and the protected marsh of Gannedel.
You can also discover on foot or by canoe the superb valley of the river Don from nearby Guéméné- Penfao.

The St Just nature and megalithic site
The Cojoux and Tréal moorlands have for a long time been known for their megalithic monuments which are spread out over more than 6 kilometres in a well preserved site. During the summer activities and events are planned.
